With extensive experience in numerous construction environments, we have never met a project we couldn’t tackle. From renovations of historic and landmark homes in Chicago’s Lincoln Park and Gold Coast to condominium renovations in numerous mid and high rises on the Gold Coast, we are always at the top of our game. In Lincoln Park, we have worked on some of the largest and most prestigious homes on Howe, Orchard, Burling and Dayton Streets among many others. Our ability to work in concert with other trades, designers, architects, integrators, etc. streamlines the construction process. We do everything we can to help foster a smooth construction process offering suggestions when appropriate but being cognizant not to undermine the efforts of the architect, designer or builder.

DEC also offers more than the typical electrical contractor because we are a Lutron Homeworks and QED shades silver dealer. If we are working on a project where lighting control is requested, a third party is not required. We have specified, installed and programmed fully centralized Lutron Homeworks systems on 10,000 plus square foot homes or hybrid systems where only certain areas or on the system. We specialize in retrofit installations as well if a client would like to convert a home with standard switching to a home with full lighting control. We have outstanding relationships with many of the top integrators in the Chicago area and our knowledge of their systems makes for a much smoother project execution. On our commercial projects, we have worked on and continue to work on some of the most recognizable establishments are the Chicago area. We have extensive experience working on restaurants, bars, stores, schools, factories, etc. We have recently completed a LEED gold project in River North (Rick Bayless’s Xoco) and are also working towards our LEED certification. We are also looking into becoming a solar panel installer and dealer in the near future; stay tuned.
